We’re a curated directory of brands, chosen for the way they’re made, where they’re based, and how they reach you. We don’t sell anything ourselves. There’s no cart, no checkout, and no commission steering what you see. Our job is to help you find the right brand, then send you directly to them.
Every brand we list meets a clear, verifiable standard tied to place. Some manufacture locally, so your purchase supports skilled work close to home. Some are headquartered in neighboring countries, offering a wider choice without the distance, customs surprises, or long supply chains. Others ship without fees or deliver reliably within your region, so the price you see is the price you pay.
We built this for discerning shoppers: people who read labels, ask where something was made, and would rather buy once and buy well. Instead of sifting through marketplaces and vague “ethically made” claims, you can filter by what matters to you and trust that each listing has been checked against our criteria.
How we curate
- We verify before we list. Claims about origin, manufacturing, and shipping are checked, not just repeated from a brand’s own marketing.
- We stay independent. Brands can’t pay for placement or influence how they’re described.
- We keep it current. Brands change, and we review listings regularly so the directory stays accurate.

A few notes for tailoring it:
- Check the claims against your practice. I’ve written that you verify claims, stay independent, and review listings regularly. Only keep these if they’re true for you, since they’re the sort of statements shoppers hold you to. If you earn affiliate revenue, for instance, say so plainly and adjust the “no commission” line.
- Name your region. A line like “focused on brands serving shoppers in [country/region]” will make the geographic angle concrete.
- Add a short version. If you’d like a two-sentence version for a homepage banner or social bio, I can write one: “A curated directory of brands that are made locally, based nearby, and ship without the fees. We don’t sell anything, we just help you find the right fit.”
